Starting in mid-December, 2020, a new fundraising craze hit the United States. Before long, it showed signs of being the new HUGE way of generating revenue if you were in need of quick cash. Of course, cities that had suffered blight over the years benefitted the most, but there were more humble ways of raising money using the same general templet that could be used for more humble funding raising needs.

And to think, we owe a debt of gratitude to trump for inspiring this beneficial new course. It started in Atlantic City, where the city leaders realized that there were people willing to donate money in order to be able to hit the trigger that demolished an eyesore seen above in its last days. Yes, this particular eyesore was abandoned by the Trump organization when they realized they were not going to make a killing in the city. The former casino had been literally littering the streets with pieces of itself for almost 20 years.

Now, with the new bright idea of the city leaders, they had a way that would get rid of this eyesore AND generate money. Well, needless to say, there was huge interest. So other cities got the bright idea that if they had a dilapidated casino, they too could rake it in. So a trend started. Cities build fake casinos, after all, who knew the difference. One ugly building pretty much resembles another, and the important thing was the trump sign on the front.

With these efforts, cities across America find huge revenue coming in, because many people enjoyed fighting back against the trump mania that had so devastated so much of the nation, This ushered in a whole new level of prosperity for American cities, and brought the nation together as nothing else could.

Oh, and for small organizations or individuals just needing extra cash, there was the video below, which spread the holiday cheer throughout the land. It was especially exciting for Christmas but people enjoyed it all year long. And the money went for such a good cause, too.

***Please note that like all good satire, it has a kernel of truth in it.
