Message to the LGBTQ community, rise up and fight the right-wing nazis in the United States, including the Supreme Court or lose it all

The above symbol appeared, not anywhere in the United States, but in the land that gave birth to Nazism, Germany. Even more amazing, it was placed, along with a Pride Flag on a mosque in Berlin. The mosque, Ibn Fushd Goethe, reaches out to include everybody, hetero, homo, bi, and even Transgendered. For a religion that often gets accused of being the most violent, evil, nasty religion in the world by many Americans, this action by this mosque heaps shame on the current Fascist attitudes in the supposed land of the free.
Now, this part of the article is directed to the LGBTQ community and all other marginalized groups. That includes Islamic folks, Hispanics, and the Black community as well. However, since I am a member of the LGBTQ community, I am issuing a special appeal to that demographic. Remember Stonewall, when sadly mostly the more down and out of our community cared enough to fight back against the discrimination and mistreatment dished out by the police department of New York City. If those wise and righteously angry people had not struck back, we might not have gained the rights that we now have. Don’t go to sleep….wake up. The evil nazi forces are planning, as even one of the Supreme Court Justices admitted, for us next.
Let’s do a little history listen. Remember Hitler and Nazi Germany, you know from the days when the United States, including the Republicans, at least pretended to be for human rights?!! What is the saying that we all know? First, they came for theLabor Unionists, and I wasn’t a Labor Unionist so I did nothing. Then there are other sentences along the same line, and then the chilling statement “and when they came for me, there was nobody to speak up”.
I first started warning people when Trump weaseled his way into the White House. He was already announcing his “coming for the Muslims and the Hispanics” and even a few times implied he was going to come for the Transgendered, I believe. In any case, he did so, with the “ban on transgendered in the military” that he CLAIMED the generals ask for….another of his lies apparently because if the Generals DID ask for that benighted decision, where is the evidence?
So now where are we??? We got rid of the crook that was in the White House, however, he managed to get three of his minions onto the Supreme Court. All three of them, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, and Barrett lied under oath. During the hearings, they each said that they respected precedent. They accepted established law, especially when court cases had consistently held it up. Roe Vs Wade has been established law for fifty years and had been upheld any number of times, but these three liars along with Alito and the other liar Thomas Clarance voted to deny women control of their own bodies.
So, just like Nazis always do, they have now come for Women and their freedom while actually planning to take other people’s freedom as well. Republicans claim to be for “freedom” but yet when a woman decides that her health or her financial well-being or even health means that to have a child is not acceptable, they want to forbid her from making the choice that works for her. The only real reason why anybody would think abortion for someone else is any of their business is if they believe that abortion is sinful according to THEIR religion. The United States, however, is supposed to be about religious freedom….which means to believe or not believe as fits oneself. It is NOBODY’S BUSINESS BUT THE WOMAN GETTING THE ABORTION WHETHER SHE GETS ONE. Anything else is a denial of freedom, and is the essence of Fascism and Nazism…not the actions right to the Democratic Republic. The MOB, and here I mean the mob of right-wing authoritarianists, does not have the right to make that decision.
And yes, I chose the picture of Clarence Thomas to represent Fascism in America. As a Black man, one would hope the man knew better, but apparently not. Not only did he vote in favor of the repressive overturn of Roe Vs Wade, but he has also made comments about denying women birth control. So, no abortion, but no way to prevent getting pregnant in the first place? In addition, he has threatened the recent and overdue civil rights issue of marriage equality for same-gender-loving folks. Please note that in many states, before 1967, his marriage to the white woman he is married to would be illegal. Yet, the two of them are fighting for the most Nazi-type anti-freedom platform of just about anytime in this country.
Oh, and in case some “conservative” gets on this page, don’t even think about telling me that Thomas only voted to return it to the states. We already know that many states, Texas and Florida come to mind first, are violating any concept of freedom by trying to issue limits on abortion and Florida with its “don’t say gay” bullcrap. My best resource for LGBTQ current news tells me that Florida School Boards have been busy making it impossible for LGBTQ youth who live in oppressive homophobic households to get any kind of relief at school for that bigotry. This is despite the known problem of many LGBTQ kids committing suicide because they can’t find any love or acceptance in their environment so where is this vaunted “pro-life” group at?
What is so incredible is the attitude that the right has that only some people have rights. If you are a woman who doesn’t want to be stuck with an unwanted (for whatever reason) child, you have no rights. The point is, I doubt any of those women that want an abortion would tell anybody they could not give birth if they wanted….why doesn’t it work the same. Religious arguments are invalid in a secular society, which America is supposed to be. Thank goodness, hasn’t history taught us the evils of government ruled by theocracy….look at many Islamic countries and the history of killing and warfare in Europe if you question my logic.
On the other hand, there is good news for us as the LGBTQ community in addition to the Muslims in Berlin. A group that has been participating with Catholic agencies on providing children for adoption has broken at a financial loss by deciding that they will not refrain from concerning LGBTQ families as adoptive families for kids.
James Finn is good at maintaining that his agenda in writing so many LGBTQ-related articles is that he wants us as the community to have the right to love and build families just like everybody else is allowed to do. In addition, he wants to see the end of the prosecution that many LGBTQ kids go through because of the bigotry of their parents, neighbors and even now their school boards in certain benighted oppressively run states like Texas and Florida.
Unfortunately, I am not nearly as calm and kind as he tends to be. I woke up this morning realizing that I had a choice. I could be depressed about all the nasty stuff that is being done in this country, or I could be angry and let the rage out. I prefer letting the rage out. After all, I am not the problem, the right-wing Nazi types are. They are trying to destroy everything that makes America great. The REAL slogan for the MAGA people should have been Making America a Bigoted oppressive crap of a Country (MABOC) because that is precisely what they are in the process of doing.
Let’s make it clear:
1. If you still support trump after the Jan 6th committee led by known conservatives Kinzinger and Cheney….as far as I am concerned you are un-American and a possible traitor to the country….and I want nothing to do with you. If I find you on my Facebook feed, you will be blocked.
2. If you support the right-wing denial of freedom for all….you are NOT my friend and I want nothing to do with you..Facebook or wherever. We have nothing to say to one another.
3. If you still believe Trump’s many lies, including the one about the election of 2020, you are just not someone that I want to even deal with….so don’t go away angry (or do, I don’t really care) but do please go away.
So many times, I see the Democrats “try to work with” the other side. That doesn’t work. They don’t “reason”, they try to dictate. They don’t believe in freedom although when it comes to taking a shot to prevent getting and spreading a killing pandemic (1,020,000 people so far) they claim to believe in “freedom” to justify their callous disregard for others’ rights to life. They don’t believe in personal responsibility because if it is something they personally wouldn’t do, they are all for letting the government “over-reach” and forbid it. And they are not even for “financial conservativism” because wait till there is a war they are in favor of and watch them spend money out the kazoo.
I am not mincing words, as you can tell. Conservatives, if you snunk on this page, you now know how I really feel. Oh, and your complaint about the left being violent when you yourself are attacking the capital and your friends the Proud Boys are invading Gay bars to cause trouble, don’t even try…I am sick of you and your lies.
Just remember right-wingers, when you continue to try and oppress, at some point, anybody will rise up and fight back. So, don’t be surprised if those gay folks fight back the next time.
