I Thank the Nobel Peace Prize pickers for Not Giving the Toddler in the White House an award for nothing
We have heard about trump wanting the Nobel Peace Prize. I had hoped that the question had been resolved when I never heard that he had managed to get his name on that list. Well, yesterday evening I realized that he had. Yes, our very own resident of the White House managed to hook somebody in nominating here. I hear it might have some Buddhist Monks expressing, as so often trump screams and bitches about not getting thanked, regardless of how little he might have had to do with whatever achievement he WANTS to take credit for.
Well, I hate that people even listen to people who beg or demand thank yous. In fact, when somebody suggests I say thank you to them for something, my tendency NOT to do so, goes up with the number of times they bring it up. By the thrid or fouth time they demand thanks, I am more likely to reply with a very choice series of words, indicating that since they apparently only did it for the thanks, they would never ever get a thank you. My appeciation of a “good deed goes down the more they expect my worship in return. That doesn’t mean that I won’t ever say thank you, I do often, when it occurs as being important to me. But “thanks” as an obligation is not a debt I tend to accept as being mine.
That being said, Norway let it be known that they were preparing. Knowing the tantrums that the man-child throws when people don’t immediately worship him like a golden calve (spoiled by all the slimy synaphonts who drop to their knees almost without being asked because they know that is what he wants (the very reason I never have or ever will) have further spoiled the man-baby.
Now back to the Nobel Peace Prize in particular. The committee bypassed trump and his right-wing semi-Nazi supporters are angry, ,as is Putin (yes, an America person in the White House not getting the Peace Prize angers the nations worst enemy) which I find very non-sensical but there it is. That, to me is another reason he SHOULD not get it. When one of the two worst enemies of the United States thinks trump should have gotten a Peace Prize, that is a black mark against you as far as I am concerned.
In additon, what Peace has he put in place. We have heard him rattle off 7 or 8 cases of peace without any real evidence to support any of them with maybe two exceptions. Yes, after fumbling and taking Isreals side in the destruction of Gaza and the Palestinians, some will say give Isreal money to continue a genocide, and I won’t disagree with those people, they managed to get a peace plan that might just work if Netanyahu doesn’t find another excuse probably based on his own personal wish to keep power over Isreal itself, he is like trump in that regard at least. Perhaps he might have helped getting Netanyahu convince to listen to reason for a brief period in order to get the contract signed. And of course some Buddhists monks apparently nominated him for the honor for some reason. But other than that, there is not any real facts to support that he was a peacemaker in any of the other claims he makes. India and Pakestan actually say he had nothing to do with any peace they came to….testimony against his.
Finally, had the Nobel Peace Committee have paid attention to trump’s ordered attacks on American cities, they should have eliminated him from the list post haste. He is creating destruction of Americans own cities and terrorizing the people who live there. That is not the actions of a person who is a peacemaker, it is more the actions of a dictator who thinks his is the only opinion that counts in a former Democratic republic.
So, I actually stayed up last night to get the final decision. At which, I rejoiced and applaud their actual decision and mentally thanked the Nobel Prize people for having some common sense and not fall into trump’s trap of catering to his ego and his obsessive demand to be the center of the stage in every situation.
When a nation, in this case, is aware of what the nation of a “leader” is enough to know they better watch out for revenge because they didn’t give him an undeserved statue, that is, in my mind, another reason not to tarnish the prize by giving it to him.
