I have to say that my statement to the so called pro-life movement has been, and remains, mind your own frigging business. If you don't believe in abortion, don't get one...I told my mother the slightly amended version of that same thing I told my mother when she was ranting about "inter-racial marriage one day".
The Archbishop can tell other Catholics what they can do with their own bodies, and if those Catholics disagree, I supposed within the belief system, they have to deal with whatever response he has to their disobedience, but he has NO power over non-catholics, nor are his congregants allowed much less REQUIRED to impose church doctrine on non-Catholics.
This crap falls into being direcly opposed to the tenets of the Constitution which allows for freedom of religions, meaning the freedom to believe what you want, or not believe whatever you don't. Anything else is illegal...or should be. according to the very Constitution that so many on the right prefess to believe so strongly in.
